Tetley's Associate Artists' Programme (TAAP)

K.P.Culver’s practice explores the relationship between the body and environments through movement and repetition. Using sculpture, performance and text to focus on office spaces in particular. Based in Leeds, Culver is a member of artist-led studio and project space serf and has exhibited at Index Festival (Leeds), Paradise Works (Manchester), and Humber Street Gallery (Hull). Ro Hardaker questions fixed logics of embodiment, advocates for difficult modes of artistic production and forms kinships with others. Using the body as the starting point for inquiry, they explore how things feel over what they look like. Recent sharing and research partners include The Live Art Development Agency (London), ]performance s p a c e [ (Folkestone), Future Ritual (London), SPILL Festival of Performance (London/Ipswich), Assembly #2 (Simiane-la-Rotonde, FR), Uppsala konstmuseum (Uppsala, SE) and Queer City Cinema and Performatorium (Regina, CA).

Jack Pell works within the realm of moving image and performance. His work exists within a culturally and spiritually hybrid mythology, usually focusing on priestly humanoid characters who recite poetic verses. Jack has a nomadic practice, so far only working in temporary studio spaces. He exhibited in Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2018 (Liverpool John Moores University) and South London Gallery. He also co-founded the artist-led space Freehold Projects in Leeds City Centre. 

Annabel Taylor-Munt’s work investigates hyper-masculine spaces and their positions in society, re-interpreting these environments by abstracting and re-configuring how they are engaged with to create new forms and interaction through choreography, film and performance. Shows include Parallel Architectures IIIII, (Bridewell Prison Leeds Town Hall) Index Festival 2019 (Leeds), Tender Balance 2019, (Leeds International Festival), Mod Copeland gallery 2018 (London) and upcoming Along the plane Leeds Inspired 2019.
