About
This event is part of PANIC! Together, a double-weekend artist development programme with The Art House, Wakefield.
This session will be recorded.
This is an online event that will also be screened live at The Tetley.
Director and Founder of Guts Gallery, Ellie Pennick is one of the youngest gallerists navigating the art world today. As a working-class, queer Northerner with no art background, Pennick’s outlook on the art world is shaped by her frustrations with the arts education system, and lack of opportunities available. Pennick launched Guts to generate a fair art business model and to champion emerging artists, helping artists to demand the respect – and ownership – they deserve.
