We’re hosting a PANIC! Network artist-led and peer supported double-weekend programme with The Art House, Wakefield.

We’ll be thinking and learning, critiquing and complaining, meeting, listening and chatting – and you’re invited!

The free, four day programme is designed to question artistic practices, share ambitions, artists’ hunches and skills, as well as have a much-needed all-round good time.

Travel contribution

We are offering a contribution of up to £15 to cover the travel costs of attending an in-person session on a first come, first served basis. Please see below for more details.

  • If you want to attend an in-person session at The Tetley, in Leeds or The Art House, in Wakefield, and are based in Craven, Harrogate, York, Leeds, Selby, Barnsley, Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees then please email bella.probyn@yorkshire-contemporary.local with a copy of your PANIC! Together booking confirmation.
  • A contribution of up to £15 will be available per person to subsidise travel costs to enable attendance for a day. This will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
  • This applies to Leeds-based attendees who wish to travel to Wakefield for the sessions, and Wakefield-based attendees who wish to travel to Leeds.
  • The Tetley won’t ask you to justify the need or reasoning, just to email a receipt of travel after the event and we’ll cross-reference this with your attendance on the day. This will be reimbursed within a month.

  • Joining instructions and links will be sent out via email on the day of the event.
  • All events on Zoom will be closed captioned using Zoom’s automated captioning service.
  • To enable these, please select the green closed captions button at the bottom of your Zoom screen.

Subtitling and BSL

  • Live speech to text subtitles for online events can be provided at your request, by letting us know in advance. This service is provided by StageText.
  • A British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter can also be made available at your request, by giving us one month’s notice in advance.
  • To book these facilities for the 11 or 12 March, contact us by Monday 21 February. To book these for 1 or 2 April, contact us by Thursday 10 March.
