Exhibitions

Opening in January, Andrew Black presents an experimental documentary, On Clogger Lane.

Samra Mayanja’s first institutional exhibition The Living and the Stale opens in February, and explores the idea of lostness through a new body of work including a novella, installations, drawings, a score and moving image.

Creative courses

Find your drawing style with Saltaire Art School’s six week drawing course at The Tetley. Hunter guides you through all the key elements of drawing, including scale, composition, perspective, shading techniques and more.

Is painting more your thing? Join local artist Julia Pomeroy for a five week life painting course. Experiment with form, figure and layering, and explore the versatility of oil paint.

Join us for a weekend of art, activities and more at our Valentine’s edition of The Tetley Makers’ Market!

We’ll have a range of fantastic independent artists and makers to shop from, as well as great food and drink. Plus, take part in a range of Valentine’s Day themed workshops.

We’re looking for independent artists and makers for our next Makers’ Market line up.

Legal & General are working with The Tetley to select an artist, or artists, to create an original artwork at Tower Works, Leeds.

The artwork will be in-situ for at least five years and will form the backdrop to this new development, creating 500 homes in Leeds South Bank. Together we want to commission an artwork that residents love to live with, and that becomes an iconic symbol of Leeds.

Baby Week Leeds is just around the corner, and we’ve got lots going on! Our baby rave and toddler banquet are sold out, but we’ve got parents’ yoga, a kids’ clothes swap and more to join us for.

Our under 5s play space Tiny Tetley Studio is open Wednesdays – Sundays, 10am–5pm, and our weekly Makers Lab workshops continue on Saturdays, with a special edition coming for February half term.

Keep an eye out for our new winter menu, launching at our Winter Social, Wednesday 16 November, 5–10pm!

Focusing on nourishing, vegetarian dishes, the new menu includes a potato and swede rosti with fried eggs, a whipped goat’s cheese and roasted beetroot open sandwich, and a sharing breakfast grazing board.

Our specials menu will also feature a whole host of delightful treats throughout the festive period. Plus, if you’re looking to host a Christmas party, find out more about our festive party menu and enquire today.

We’re also hosting two exciting Bar & Kitchen events – join us for delicious dining experiences at Provenance and our Love Life: Valentine’s Restaurant Takeover.
