Winter menu
Sustainable, seasonal and delicious: The Tetley’s new veggie winter menu
Contemporary art gallery The Tetley launches a new veggie winter menu, continuing its commitment to being carbon neutral by 2030.
The menu is entirely vegetarian, with meat dishes appearing only as specials – with a focus on showcasing local suppliers, minimising food waste and reducing our carbon footprint.
Dishes include a breakfast grazing board for two; a warming baked bean bowl with roasted organic crown prince squash and crispy spiced tofu; a mild spiced Tanzanian curry with coconut, winter root veg and tofu; and an open sandwich with whipped goat’s cheese, roasted beetroots, pomegranate molasses and Turkish inspired spices.
With savoury and sweet, light dishes and heartier options, there really is something for everyone, with prices ranging from £5 to £10 (or £17 for the grazing board for two).
The daily menu is served Wednesday – Saturday, 9.30am–5pm, with brunch and lunch available all day.
Well beloved for Sunday Roasts, the Bar & Kitchen’s Sunday menu continues to feature traditional roasts as well as plant-based alternatives.
So – book a table and join us for a plant-based brunch or lunch. And, don’t forget; all proceeds from the Bar & Kitchen – whether it’s from a coffee, a pint, a piece of cake, or a Tetley rarebit – goes straight back into The Tetley charity, funding our work presenting free art exhibitions and supporting local artists and communities to be creative.
Upcoming events
As well as the Bar & Kitchen’s spirit of sustainability, a commitment to creativity and collaboration continues to be central to its ethos. For another taste of Head Chef Jade Crawley’s unique approach, join The Tetley Bar & Kitchen for two special events in the new year.
