Inside Out: our new offsite art and play project

Journal 21 Dec 2023

Beginning in 2024, Yorkshire Contemporary is working offsite to present Inside Out, a three-year art and play project for children and families in Beeston and Beeston Hill.

We’re working with artists, communities and partner organisations to host artist-led play sessions at Hamara Healthy Living Centre; enjoy summers of fun and feasting on Cross Flatts Park; and collaborate with people in south Leeds to create a new permanent play area.

The project begins after leaving the iconic building in the former Tetley’s brewery headquarters after ten years. In 2024, we continue our mission as Yorkshire Contemporary, creating a platform for early career artists and providing creative opportunities for communities in Leeds.

Inside Out is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund
