Tiny Totley Studio is a free artist-designed play space opening at Leeds Central Library on Friday 12 July.

Artist and early years specialist Stephanie Jefferies invites you to get creative and spend time together in this immersive environment, where you can touch, climb and slide!

About

Tiny Totley Studio was previously based at The Tetley, and known as Tiny Tetley Studio. This popular free play space is moving to Leeds Central Library, opening on Friday 12 July 2024.

In Tony Tetley Studio, Jefferies uses play and contemporary art to create an alternative to commercial spaces for children and their families.

Tony Tetley Studio features a bespoke sound installation by Buffalo Sound Design, play structures designed and built in collaboration with Three Create, and crocheted breastfeeding aids from Leeds Bosom Buddies.

Opening hours

The space will be free to use and open at the same time as the library:

Monday – Thursday 9am–8pm
Friday 9am–5pm
Saturday 10am–4pm
Sunday Closed

Access

  • For wheelchair and pushchair access, please use the Victoria Gardens basement entrance or come through Leeds Art Gallery.
  • Lift available to all floors.
