Superhero screenings

  • The screening took place in the South Bank Room on the ground floor.
    There are accessible toilets on the ground floor.
    Please note, our lift is currently out of service, meaning there is no lift access to our gallery spaces. We are working on fixing this as soon as possible.

We invited you to join us for an inspiring programme of family-friendly film screenings at The Tetley in collaboration with Hyde Park Picture House. Popcorn was provided!

Jo, a witty 9 year old terminally ill girl is taken back to her rural village to live out the rest of her short life. Her only comfort during these dull times are her dreams of being a superhero, which prove to be something her rebellious teenage sister Mwix, overprotective mother Kathryn and the entire village of Maweni think they can fulfill.

Magical superhero capes workshop

The screening was accompanied by a free Magical Superhero Cape workshop, with sessions running  at 10.30am–12pm and 2.30–4pm.
