Designed for artists interested in working with children from birth to five years old, this session will explore how to translate your artistic practice or the work of other artists, to make it meaningful and accessible for young children and their families.
Discover how to develop environments for children to explore freely, using play schemes and child-centered frameworks to create engaging, playful spaces through workshops, installations, and exhibition resources.
Stephanie’s innovative approach blends contemporary art with play, dismantling the boundary between art and engagement. Her work focuses on creating sensory, immersive experiences for diverse audiences, including early years and neurodivergent children. Stephanie’s projects have been featured in major galleries across the UK, including Tate Modern, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and The Hepworth Wakefield.
How to register
To ensure that the artists receive the most useful learning experience and as we have a limited number of spaces, a registration for attendance application is required.
To apply, simply complete the short form (the link is on the left of this page) which will ask you for a brief summary of your artistic practice, your experience with audiences including children and a few images of your work.
We will notify those selected to attend the session by email during the week beginning 28th October.
