About the artists

Born in West Yorkshire, K Walker is a multimedia artist specialising in sculpture, fashion, drawing, performance and poetry. They studied a foundation course at Leeds Arts University before going on to study fashion design in London. Returning to Yorkshire in 2019, Walker currently bases themselves and their practice in Leeds. They had solo exhibitions at Village Books, SCREW Gallery in 2021, and was most recently part of the Leeds Artists Show 2023 at Leeds Art Gallery.

Rhian Cooke is an artist based in Leeds, making work across film, animation, sculpture and installation. She is interested in wildlife, the climate and the environment. Cooke makes her work with handmade processes including textiles, drawing and recycled materials. She enjoys making her creations magically perform through the medium of film and photography, translating materials into imagined worlds and stories.
