Artists Farah Naz Moon and Clare Charnley present a simultaneous live performance taking place at The Tetley and Studio Mahbub Lipi, Dhaka, Bangladesh in response to the production, trade and movement of goods worldwide.

The work is the result of correspondence between the two artists over 18 months and will take the form of simultaneous sewing by Charnley & Naz Moon featuring a live performance and video stream in each location.

The performance at The Tetley will last for approximately one hour.

Drop in to observe, talk with Charnley and watch the live stream of Naz Moon producing work from Studio Mahbub Lipi.

About

Farah Naz Moon lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She works mainly with drawing and performance and runs projects with others. Farah looks at how her roots connect to big social and political issues, particularly ways historical violence impacts on workers’ lives today.

Clare Charnley lives in Leeds, UK. As well as a solo practice she has worked on a series of collaborations with artists and writers in other countries.
