Announcing our Rowland Road Working Men’s Club Play Patch project

Journal 17 May 2024

Yorkshire Contemporary is working with Rowland Road Working Men’s Club in Beeston Hill to create an outdoor play space for children.

Together with a steering group of club members and parents from the local area, we will appoint an artist to imagine and design a permanent play area on a patch of currently disused land at the back of the club.

This project is part of Yorkshire Contemporary’s art and play programme for children and families in Beeston and Beeston Hill called Inside Out.

Supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, Bupa Foundation Green Community Grants Fund and Leeds Community Foundation’s Leeds Civic Trust Community Fund.
